Project #3 - Python, Django, and PosgreSQL “Brewsky”

Everyone has had some project, job, or task that they’ve had to do… but just didn’t quite feel like work. My third full-stack app was the first time I experienced that “spark” as a software engineer that kept me pushing further as I learned more. While learning Python, Django, and SQL, Brewsky was born as an app that allows for finding breweries and pubs in the United States by utilizing 3rd party API’s.

While this project was fun to work and build, it was also the first time I had ever written code in Python for a full-stack application. This was one of those projects that the more I learned each week after turning it in, the more I wanted to go back to it and make it better. After receiving a production key from a better API than the original, I’m looking forward to rebuilding this app from scratch and making it user friendly enough to generate interest.
